Seamus focuses his practice on the defense of individuals, small businesses, large corporations and non-profit organizations in all phases of dispute resolution and trial. He has experience handling all aspects of litigation from pleadings to appeals, as well as successful experience in resolving cases through alternative dispute resolution, such as arbitration and mediation. Seamus has successfully litigated cases at all levels of state court and has also taken on issues at the federal district and circuit court levels.
Raised in Cleveland, Seamus graduated from Cleveland – Marshall College of Law in 2003. Seamus received his B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University in 2000, where he received the Mark Left on Award for excellence in sociological studies and was named to the Dean’s High Honors List. He was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta National Sociology Honorary Society.
Seamus is most proud of the firm’s ability to handle a wide variety of cases while having success at every level and phase of litigation. Time at M&T has taught Seamus the value of hard work and attention to detail, and that working well together with clients as well as opposing lawyers leads to good results as well as valuable long-term relationships. Using this knowledge and experience, Seamus is most excited about continuing to build a sustainable book of business, remaining a valued member of the firm, and pursuing the track to become a Partner in the firm. Beyond legal work, Seamus finds fulfillment in spending time with his wife and four school-aged children, coaching and assisting with their sports teams. As a native Clevelander, Seamus remains a lifelong die-hard Cleveland sports fan.
