Torrin K. Treu is an associate at Moscarino & Treu who began his legal career in 2018 with the firm. He concentrates his practice on medical malpractice defense, business litigation, general litigation, and insurance law.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Torrin attended Kenston High School before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Religion minor from Davidson College in 2013. While at Davidson, Torrin played division one football, sang in The Davidson Generals all-male a capella group, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, North Carolina Beta Chapter. Upon graduation, Torrin then returned home to Cleveland and spent two years as a recruiter at ON Partners, a rapid-growth executive search firm based out of Cleveland, in order to learn business, corporate structure, and negotiation skills. Soon, he decided that he could not avoid the ever-present call to the legal world, hoping to follow in his father Kris’ footsteps, and enrolled at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2018. While in law school, Torrin was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law & Health, completed an externship at the Cuyahoga County Probate Court under Judge Laura L. Gallagher, and law clerked at Moscarino & Treu throughout. He passed the June 2018 Ohio Bar Exam and began practice as a licensed attorney the same year.
Torrin is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He endeavors to zealously represent the interests and legal rights of his clients and hopes to uphold the tremendous legacy of Moscarino & Treu, built over the last more-than-twenty years.
