William H. (Bill) Falin joined Moscarino & Treu in 2001 after practicing for 14 years as an associate and Partner in the litigation practice group of a large Cleveland, Ohio firm. During his more than 30 years of practice, Bill has concentrated on civil litigation and trial work in both judicial and arbitration forums, and advising individuals and businesses on a wide variety of contract, fiduciary and related business issues and disputes. He has first chair jury trial experience representing insured and self-insured clients in professional and product liability, contract and personal injury matters, as well as extensive experience representing insurers, insurance agents, banks and other businesses in insurance coverage, bad faith, agent liability, trade secret, banking, Uniform Commercial Code and related complex commercial, contract and financial disputes and litigation.
Bill is dedicated to providing clients with an informed, pragmatic approach to litigation and business disputes and representation that is smart, cost-effective, and as aggressive as needed.
An Ohio native, Bill received his A.B. from Ohio University in 1983 and graduated magna cum laude from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1987 where he also served as an editor of the Cleveland State Law Review. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, OACTA, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the John M. Manos Inns of Court, and is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, as well as before the United States Court of Federal Claims and United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Bill has been designated as an Ohio Super Lawyer focusing on business litigation issues since 2019 and has been consistently rated by Martindale-Hubbell as AV Preeminent based on both peer and judicial reviews.
